Adult Guitar Lessons course consists of lessons that have been designed keeping in mind the preferences of older generation. The youngsters may not find them interesting as they are more used to the flashy lessons that involve a lot of colour and fun activities. Adults usually are more reserved and the lessons included are simply ideal to facilitate their needs.

The Good Point

Adult Guitar Lessons is a very suitable course for adult learners. Since this course is specifically designed for the older age group, therefore, people in their forties, fifties or even their sixties will not feel out of place.

This course is geared towards teaching guitar in an uncomplicated way. The emphasis is not on learning all the intricacies of the music theory or the minute details of each and every scale. The founder of this course knows that the adult learners will have various constraints involving their family or their work. And, so this online course will help you successfully learn a guitar even if you can manage to devote ten minutes every day.

This Adult Guitar Lessons review highly recommends it’s laid back and stress free method of learning a guitar, which does not in anyway mean a casual approach towards teaching and learning. This means creating a comprehensive, step by step course for the benefit of the busy professionals. This also means creating a conducive and friendly lesson plan for an adult learner, which will encourage him to realize his long cherished dream of playing a guitar.

The emphasis is not on fast and flashy playing but integrating the soul of the music within your system through hearing and practicing the songs. The various testimonials of older learners show that the course is tremendously successful in realizing its goals.

As this course is available solely in the online format, you do not have to waste any money on shipping. You can also access the course immediately after your payment gets completed. They have a personalized approach towards teaching and offer one to one interaction facilities through emails.

The Bad Point

The only limitation of Adult Guitar Lessons is that it is very generation specific and is not meant for the younger learners, who might have different needs. But that is the unique selling point of Adult Guitar Lessons and makes it all the more lucrative for its target group of adult learners.

The membership fee for the course is just $47 and it is for a lifetime! It’s actually worth spending on this rather than spending hundreds of dollars every month on private teachers which can be a total rip off! You will get your full subscription fee back within 60 days if you are not happy with the course.

Verdict

This Adult Guitar Lessons review highly recommends this course because it is a very easy and uncomplicated method devised for the older learners of guitar. You do not have to know all the music theory, everything about reading music or put in extensive hours of practice to learn guitar right from the beginning.

So, you can safely subscribe to it as this course enables you to successfully learn guitar at whatever age is convenient for you.

This page is Heath Nicholson’s Riffmaster Pro Review – See below If you’re looking for:

In this Riffmaster Pro review, we’ll cut straight to the chase and tell you that this software is actually a very good learning tool to help you improve your guitaring IF what you are after is software that helps you transcribe guitar parts by using your ear and developing your pitch recognition.

Even if you’re completely tech illiterate, Riffmaster Pro is very simple and straight forward to use. If you can import, playback and EQ songs in Windows Media Player or Apple iTunes, you’ll have no problems using the Riffmaster Pro software, it’s really that easy.

Riffmaster Pro nurtures you to improve your note and chord progression recognition skills and because of that, you develop a better musical ear. How does it do this for you? I’m glad you asked.

You can import your favourite song you want to learn into Riffmaster Pro software, adjust the playback speed and equalize it to bring out the guitar section a little more. By slowing down the playback of the song, you can work out much more easily that solo or chord progression. You can then practice along to the slower version until you’ve got the knack of that guitar part and gradually speed it up to original speed.

This is all done through a user friendly interface. Speed, pitch and volume controls are all easily adjustable from the front panel of Riffmaster Pro along with EQ and the loop function. As the name suggests, it’s really handy being able to zoom in on that tricky 2 second phrase using the loop function and working out what exactly is happening in that section of a song. There are EQ presets just in case you don’t want to waste too much time fiddling with adjusting the EQ.

Learning to play by ear is very beneficial and can help you to develop your own playing style early on as you are interpreting what you hear on your own, working out your own methods of fretting notes all without the assistance of tablature. Let’s face it, a lot of free tablature that you can get online tends to be incorrect anyhow as we can’t be sure whether what was posted online was by a transcribing professional (most likely not) or by a youngster in his bedroom (more than likely).

What I Liked About Riffmaster Pro

I bought Riffmaster Pro 15 days ago, and have spent quite a lot of time playing around with it. Here are some of the things that I really like about Riffmaster Pro…

  • Easy To Use: I normally hate learning to use new software that I buy. But I found Riffmaster Pro very easy to use. It has a very simple user interface that is intuitive to use. It only took me a minute or two to figure out how to load in a song in and slow it down.
  • Excellent Sound Quality: Even when listening to the slowed down version of the song, I still found it easy to hear all the notes clearly.
  • Pitch Function: I loved the pitch function of Riffmaster Pro. I was able to take a backing track and change it into a different keys. This allowed me to use the same backing track to practice soloing in different keys. Very cool.
  • Reasonbly Priced: To be blunt $47.00 is NOTHING when I think about the time this software will save me.

What I Didn’t Like About Riffmaster Pro

I found it hard to think of anything negative that I could say about Riffmaster Pro. But I refuse to write a review without at least one criticism. :-) So here it is…

  • Lack Of Manual: Although Riffmaster Pro does have five easy-to-follow training videos, I feel that some people might prefer a written manual of some kind. (Perhaps as a downloadble PDF document). We all learn differently, and some people prefer reading to watching videos.

Verdict

All in all, Riffmaster Pro delivers and does what it says it, it improves your guitaring by allowing you to learn and work out songs through developing your pitch recognition otherwise known as playing by ear. Riffmaster Pro is straight forward and very easy to use that even someone who isn’t techno savvy will have no trouble using it.

This page is Jared Crebs’s The Beginner’s Guide to Unlocking the Guitar Review – See below If you’re looking for:

The ‘Beginners Guide to Unlocking The Guitar’ is a good, no-nonsense course for beginners. A pretty decent and reliable training ground is provided using the e-book, audio files, fingering techniques and the muscle memory training.

This helps any beginner learn the basics of the guitar quickly. However, the program isn’t of much help if you are planning to leap from a beginner to a pro. This program is for those who wish to take to the guitar just to strum a few tunes and impress a few people.

Muscle Memory Technique

This program is built on the fact that you must learn the ‘Muscle Memory’ technique. This is based on the theory that the muscles in our body tend to remember particular positions and movements on the guitar, if performed repetitively.

By increasing the tension in the muscles when performing your fingering or plucking of the guitar you can learn to play the guitar by remembering the movements and positions on autopilot.

The idea behind the theory of “Muscle Memory” technique is great, and this helps the guitarist play the guitar “unconsciously”, while he can concentrate on the singing part. However, we have mixed opinions about the way it is used and incorporated in the program.

While this course is very effective for the beginners, it didn’t help when applied to people in intermediate or pro levels. Also, there was no stark difference in the effectiveness of the program when compared to other competing courses using a variety of different teaching techniques. This courseis good, but not better than UPick’s top 3 recommendations.

A Look At The Contents

  • The ebook and the beginner chord sound files are the basic pillars on which the program is established. The ebook is well written with a good flow in a logical sequence. Combined with the sound files, it works wonderfully with the beginners and some intermediate level students. The sound files let people analyze the chord sounds. However, the “Press & Listen” version of the files must be played on your PC.
  • ‘The Perfect Chord Chart’ is an illustrated chart for beginners. It contains the different chords how they are played.
  • The 150 popular songs with 4 chords or less e-book contains the chord positions for 150 popular songs for the beginners to play and practice. As all of these are freely available over the internet, and can be accessed with a simple Google search, this is not a novelty factor.
  • The Beginning Singing Techniques e-book helps you understand the basic singing technique, as this is the important part of being a good guitarist.

Conditional Money Back Guarantee

The money back guarantee seems to have some conditions. Here’s what it says on the website.

“Better than risk-free 60 day money back guarantee: If after sincerely giving the guitar course a try you do not find it helpful in learning how to play the guitar or improving your guitar skills – I will give you a full refund of the purchase”.

While it seems great and fool-proof, it has provisions for the author not to give back the money. Thus if you did learn something from the author he’s not inclined to refund your money.

Bonus When You Purchase

  • Beginner chord sound files
  • Beginner Singing Techniques e-book
  • The Perfect Chord Chart for Beginners
  • 150 popular songs with 4 chords or less e-book

Final Words

As mentioned before, the program is very good for beginners, but anyone else is better off not buying it. The money back guarantee is one of the tricky things that need to be considered. The other factor is the selling of the Muscle Memory Techniques as their own invention (complete with the use of trademarks).

Most of the programs use this technique in varying degrees, and this is not new. This misleading sales pitch only mars The Beginner’s Guide to Unlocking the Guitar, which is otherwise a well rated product.

This page is Ryan Cameron’s Guitar Tutor Pro Review – See below If you’re looking for:

Guitar Tutor Pro is an e-book based guitar course that will lead you from the basics right through to advanced playing techniques. It is useful for beginner to intermediate guitarists who want to improve their playing through a series of structured lessons while learning some essential music theory along the way.

The Guitar Tutor Pro course covers everything from the very basics of holding the guitar to learning complex rhythms and scales. The lessons in the 3 main e-books are supplemented by over 400 audio samples to let you hear what pieces should sound like and 300 exercises to help you practice what you learn. The lessons are pretty well structured and provide a lot of information on the techniques you are learning as well as covering some basic music theory about why they work.

Guitar Tutor Pro provides you:

  • E-Book based course promises to teach you everything you need to know to play guitar
  • Includes 3 e-books, each with photos and professionally transcribed notation
  • Developed by a professional guitarist
  • Learn how to read music notation and guitar tablature
  • Included ‘Guitar Chords Pro’ software
  • Master fingerpicking or playing with a pick
  • Free newsletter containing extra tips and tricks
  • Learn advanced rhythm techniques used in bosa nova playing
  • Discover how to use open tunings
  • Contact the course developer directly for assistance
  • Bonus metronome and tuner software
  • 3 month money back guarantee

The course is available as an instant download from the Guitar Tutor Pro web site and comes with five extra bonus features and books comprising a software based tuner, chord dictionary and metronome application and 2 e-books covering some aspects of playing guitar in more detail.

The software is a useful addition but is nothing special in terms of design or functionality. The e-books cover reading music notation, which is useful if you want to learn the guitar properly, and tuning and stringing the guitar, which is useful for absolute beginners.

Despite being fairly pushy in its sales pitch, Guitar Tutor Pro is not a bad guitar course. The website contains the usual testimonies from excited fans of the course and vastly exaggerates the value of it at $3000 – but somehow they can afford to give it away for $47.00! However, even if $3000 is a tad enthusiastic, the course contains everything you need to get started playing the guitar.

In all Guitar Tutor Pro will serve you well if you are a beginner to intermediate guitarist. It takes you beyond some of the basic techniques which absolute beginner courses teach you, but is still accessible enough for a new guitarist to pick up. In these days of cheap cameras and internet streaming some videos might have been useful, but this course contains everything you need to start learning.

This page is JamPlay Review – See below If you’re looking for:

There are a lot of online guitar lesson membership sites out there. All of them are claiming to provide the “goods” to teach you to be a great guitar player. While online guitar lesson websites aren’t a new concept, JamPlay has taken the online membership model to a new level.

By providing more then just access to a bunch of videos JamPlay has managed to structure an online learning environment perfect for guitar players of all skill levels, and for a price that doesn’t break the bank.

3 Stages of Video Instruction

JamPlay has organized their lessons into 3 separate phases (check out how they teach):

  • Phase 1 – Beginner Lessons
  • Phase 2 – Intermediate & Genre/Style Specific Lessons
  • Phase 3 – Song Lessons

JamPlay employs more then 30 different instructors who each specialize in their own area and provide lesson content specifically for that area.

By following the specific phases laid out by JamPlay you learn to play guitar faster by following a lesson plan that works, and specific instructors that specialize in the area they’re teaching. This means you’ll be playing your favorite songs faster, and moving into specific genres and styles (blues, jazz, acoustic, rock) much quicker then if you were taking private lessons from only one teacher.
High Def Videos Make Learning Easier

All of the lesson content inside JamPlays 3 phases is recorded in High Definition (see sample lesson). Each video lesson is divided up into separate chapters that are more easily digestible then the full 20-40 minute lessons (you have the choice to watch a full lesson or watch individual chapters).

Since videos are the easiest way to learn guitar on your own, you will understand concepts faster and be able to progress at a quicker pace. This means you’ll be playing full songs and music sooner then with other self study methods of guitar.

The ability to select specific scenes/chapters in each lesson means you don’t have to watch an entire lesson at once. This is great if you’re a busy individual and for re-watching specific parts of a lesson for review.

JamPlay’s online guitar lesson videos ensure you receive a crystal clear understanding of the techniques being taught. By using multiple camera angles and on screen graphics.

There are quite a few additional features you gain access to with a JamPlay membership.

  • Extensive Printable Chord Library
  • Scale Library
  • Lick & Riff Library
  • Backing Tracks Catalog

While these features are more important after you go through your first several beginner lessons they provide quick and easy access to chords, scales and riffs while your practicing and/or jamming with friends.
JamPlay Q & A

JamPlay offers weekly Q & A sessions with all of their instructors. This is a unique feature to their membership course. You can post questions for instructors in the private support/membership site and teachers will provide video responses to your questions.

Video responses are like having your own private teacher to call on when you need help. This ensures you avoid getting stuck on something and frustrated which can lead you to putting your guitar down for a bit.

This feature is a one of a kind for beginner programs anywhere. JamPlay is a solid choice for guitar players that are eager to get started learning quickly. Since the entire course is online based you can start watching video lessons just minutes after you sign up.

The only real downside to JamPlay is that fact that it’s entirely based online and you need to be at your computer with an Internet connection to access lesson content. I know it’s pretty easy to come by a net connection these days but for some dvd lessons might be more appealing for this reason.

The other part of what makes JamPlay unique are its social networking features. You can make your own profile, share your interests like favorite bands and make new friends on the site. By participating in the JamPlay community, you will feel a lot more involved and will help your motivation for learning. The site also includes a very active forum, where you can get answers to your questions or just plain hang out.

There’s also a daily webcam sessions with a particular JamPlay teacher which allows you to interact with the instructor over streaming video in a group chat environment. This is a really fun feature that I don’t think any other site offers.

Compared to a similar guitar membership site like Guitar Tricks, JamPlay does cost a little more per month ($19.95 to $12.95). However, the monthly fee is still quite modest, compared to what you would pay for private guitar lessons. Another downside with JamPlay is that you have the be online with a good broadband connection to enjoy the best possible experience. As far as I can tell, there’s no way to download the videos to your computer for offline viewing.

If you are serious about learning to play the guitar and enjoy the idea of being part of a guitar learning community, you should definitely give JamPlay a serious look. At least check out the free lessons they offer on the site to see if you like it. JamPlay suitable for guitar learners of all levels, and it’s definitely a fun and enjoyable way to learn the guitar.

The Jam Station allows you to simulate playing along with a real band. It is a really useful learning tool and with more than 150 tracks and counting, you will always have something new to practice to.

All in all, Guitar Tricks is an excellent membership site suitable for guitar players of all levels. GuitarTricks.com Pros

Here are some of my favorite things about being a member of Guitar Tricks:

  • The video lessons are high-quality
  • It’s cool meeting, talking to, and learning from 10,000′s of guitarists around the World
  • The membership is insanely cheap for what you get ($14.95/month for unlimited access)!
  • There are 45 instructors to learn from, covering tons of styles & genres
  • JamStation is pretty cool for designing backing tracks to solo and/or sing over
  • Ultimate Metronome is a good way to increase dexterity by boosting the tempo of exercises
  • I love being able to learn & practice at home, whenever I want

GuitarTricks.com Cons

Though it’s awesome overall, there are some things I do NOT like about Guitar Tricks:

  • Ever spend like 3 hours on YouTube? With so many lessons, it’s easy to get distracted here too
  • Some of the lessons focus too much on beginners, moving too slowly for intermediate players
  • Since there are so many instructors, sometimes it’s tough to switch mindsets for their teaching styles
  • It’d be really cool if they offered more video guitar tabs for specific songs (though there are quite a few)
  • JamPlay has a much cooler community and tools for guitarists

I’ve realized that if you follow the flow of their lessons, and stick with 1-3 instructors at a time, it’s a lot easier to sort of master one skill or technique, then move on. Plus, to be honest, I try to avoid the forums unless I’m sick of practicing or just really tired, just to make sure I don’t get too distracted, which helps. Overall, I definitely recommend Guitar Tricks.

This page is Steve Krenz’s Learn and Master Guitar Review – See below If you’re looking for:

I have owned the course for almost 2 years, but have been using it a lot for the past three months and I am confident that Learn and Master guitar is capable of taking a complete beginner guitar player all the way from the most basic of steps (tuning, strumming chords) to playing advanced styles and songs in a variety of genres, even if you’ve never picked up the instrument before. Of course, it will require time and practice on your part, but the content in this course will get you there.

Part of the reason I feel so strongly about this course is because of the instructor, Steve Krenz (read his bio). Steve is a Nashville based session guitar player and teacher. He’s taught large workshops internationally and taught hundreds of students one-on-one. As soon as you put on the first DVD Steve’s soft spoken & friendly style of teaching really invites you in, and helps you feel like “Hey I can do this”.

The new Learn and Master Guitar Expanded Edition (Re. $249 currently $100 off for $149) comes with 20 lesson dvds, 5 jam along practice cd’s and a lesson book. Not included in the package, but just as important, is the unlimited access to Learn and Masters online support website and community. These online tools allow you to ask questions directly to Steve if you need help and communicate with other owners of the course that learning at the same time as you.

Course Basics

Learn & Master Guitar was written by Steve Krenz who has a degree in music and experience playing guitar in all kinds of situations. He has been a guitarist in a symphony orchestra, a jazz big band, and in recording studios of all kinds. He is familiar with all styles of guitar music and has a desire to help others learn to play. That’s why he created this DVD series, and I can see his passion for the project coming across in the lessons.

This course centers around twenty DVD’s that have been produced by real professionals. They obviously weren’t videotaped by some guy and his buddies in a garage. They are full of high quality photography and graphics and are designed to be easy to stop and start or repeat a section whenever you need to. Steve gives instruction about the topic for the lesson, and then allows time for you to practice and play along with him. There are close-ups of both hands as Steve plays so you can check your own hand positions.

Jam-Along CD’s

I think the part of Learn And Master Guitar that is the most fun, is playing with the Jam-Along CD’s. There are 5 discs recorded by a professional group of musicians that feature all the songs you will be learning in the lessons. At the beginning of the course you will have the choice of three different tempos for each song.

That can be very handy when you are just starting out and need to take things slow. You can play along with the group and when you are ready, you can fade the guitar part out and become the lead man yourself. It is so much fun to feel like part of a band and it will impress your friends when they hear how good you have become.

Lesson Book and Topics

Steve’s Learn and Master Guitar comes with a book more than 100 pages long that is designed to accompany the DVD lessons. That way you can see the notes on paper as you hear Steve play them which makes learning to read music easier. The book also explains tablature, another important skill for a guitar player to have.

In my opinion, the best thing about this course is the way everything is explained so logically and builds from one lesson to the next. I can’t think of any aspect of learning the guitar that is not covered in this set. Here are just a few of the topics you will learn from Learn & Master Guitar: strumming, rhythm, key changes, reading music, ear training, alternate chords, soloing, reading tabs, and scales. Every style of guitar music is explored here, too from Latin, folk and classical, to metal and rock. It is the most complete course I have seen, bar none.

Bonus Materials

Another cool feature of Learn And Master Guitar is the free online support that is available when you purchase the series. It is the perfect forum if you want to ask a question, get some support, or brag about your success. Steve Krenz will answer your questions himself and lots of other friendly guitar guys will jump in, too.

I think it is so helpful when you are learning anything new if you have a place to express some frustrations or blow off steam. Learn And Master Guitar provides just that.

Money Back Guarantee

Another reason I’m happy to recommend this course to guitar students is because of the money back guarantee. You can use the series for up to sixty days and if it is not working out for you, you can get your money back. That’s it.

There are no questions asked. This guarantee shows me that the producers of this product really believe in it, or they would not be able to make such an offer.

The Good Point

  • All lessons are in both DVD and written formats so you can watch the videos and follow along.
  • A large quantity of teaching aids make up Learn & Master Guitar.
  • Learn and Master Guitar’s videos are extremely high quality as are the teaching methods the instructors use.
  • Lessons are broken up into manageable pieces with just the right amount of information included so you learn gradually, with each lesson building on the previous information.
  • Lessons are extremely personalized, and you feel as though you are receiving private tutoring rather than a purchased program.
  • There is a one-time purchase price, so you know what you are getting upfront.
  • If you can’t pay the $200 upfront, a payment plan is offered through Legacy Learning– consider it an investment in your ability to play the guitar.

The Bad Point

  • For someone who is just starting out on the guitar, the price might be a bit intimidating, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for with Learn & Master Guitar.
  • There could be more of an online presence, but Learn & Master Guitar focuses more on their DVD series than on their online interactive tools.

Customer Support

Learn & Master Guitar offers a 60-day money back guarantee if you are dissatisfied with their product for any reason. In addition, Learn & Master Guitar comes with free online support for their students, including a hopping forum. By visiting their website, you can access archived discussion questions to get a feel for the kinds of help you are able to receive. Full access is free with your purchase of the program.

Verdict

Learn and Master Guitar is made up of just the right combination of media, narration, and teaching techniques, all included on 20 DVDs, 5 CDs (in jam-along style), 100 pages of lessons, and other supplementary materials. While the entire program isn’t accessible online, there are also a number of web-based supplementary materials as well. Learn & Master Guitar really can help someone of any age and any skill level in learning to play guitar.

Tһіѕ post іѕ Craig Bassett’s Guitar Scale Mastery Review – See below If уου’re looking fοr:

Most guitar aficionados agree that one of the keys to learning and mastering the guitar is to be able to play scales with aplomb.

I think it is a part of guitar playing that is too often glossed over, and not covered in the detail it deserves. Scales are about more than just moving your fingers up and down the frets playing notes in procession. They are the building blocks used to play all types of music and are the key to performing electrifying guitar solos.

All of the great riffs and licks that you hear in your favorite songs, are played by musicians who have a complete understanding of scales and their importance. This course teaches you not only how to execute guitar scales but also how to use them to improve your overall guitar abilities.

The first challenge faced by the guitar player who wants to learn how to play scales is the vast number of different scales that can be learned. To the beginner it seems like an infinite number of note combinations and can be daunting to even the most determined guitarist. That is why a course like this one can really help.

Unlike most guitar tutorials that spend little or no time teaching scales, this course has the singular goal of helping you to learn your scales. The Guitar Scale Mastery program cuts through all the different combinations of scales and just teaches you the ones that are essential to becoming a better guitarist. This makes it perfect for beginners who don’t know where to start as far as learning to play various scales.

Craig Bassett wrote the course and he admits right up front that it will not be suitable for everyone. But he says that anyone who wants to learn to play by ear, and create solos like the ones they love to listen to, will benefit from the lessons. It is a web-based system that first teaches students to play single-string scales.

This helps you internalize the basic format of scales, so that they become second nature. The course expands to include two and three string versions, and soon you will be playing across the whole fret board.

What if you’re a more experienced guitarist, who already knows most of the basic scales? Is this still a good program for you? Yes, and I’ll tell you why. This course hones your senses: the ears for hearing the notes on the various scales, the eyes to visualize the fingers moving across the fret board, and the mind to understand the principles behind the scales.

I found this course not only improved my grasp and proficiency of scales but also, by getting my senses in tune, improved every aspect of my playing.

Don’t get the wrong idea though, becoming proficient with scales can be a tedious, time-consuming exercise that you will not always enjoy. This program tries to make it fun but there will still be times when you will need to take a break and work on learning different kinds of techniques.

That being said, the end results are worth the work that you have to put in to get them. When you discover that you can play a riff that you have created that sounds great because it is in the right key to complement the song you are playing, you’ll be glad you spent the time to learn scales.

Very few guitarists have the ability to truly dominate scales, to move fluidly and musically all over the fret board and to rip off great solos with ease.

That is precisely what this course can do for you. If that sounds like something you would be interested in then this program is for you.

Guitar Scale Mastery Provides you:

  • Online course promising to help you master scales on the guitar
  • Learn how to use scales without thinking
  • Improve your guitar improvisation

If you think you would like a more comprehensive system, however, I recommend Learn and Master Guitar. Steve Krenz wrote the DVD series and it is a great resource to teach you everything that you need to know to play like a pro.

It gives you plenty of information on scales and the music theory to understand how and why they are important. But it broadens your knowledge into nearly every style of guitar music out there.

If you go through this course, you will understand the theory behind the music you love as well as gaining the skills you need to play it.

Tһіѕ post іѕ Jamorama Review – See below If уου’re looking fοr:

Jamorama is a guitar lesson program developed by Ben Edwards and his team of guitar experts. The course is more targeted towards beginners and intermediate players who are struggling to reach the next step in their guitar playing.

So, even if you just picked up a guitar and have no idea where to start, the program can help you to begin the lessons right from scratch. Ok, let’s see if it’s really true. Just read below my Jamorama review.

If you haven’t watched the video, I highly recommend you to do that. In the video I explain and show all the benefits Jamorama gives you.

The guitar course consists of two books with 44 total lessons and a bunch of supplemental video lessons and audio files consist of jam tracks. All these teach step-by-step of how to play the guitar until you are good at it.

Personally, I found the program really well-structured and simple to follow along. The tutorials are easy to understand.

There is a great deal of illustrations, exercises, examples, tips of mastering the guitar and lots of useful information how to avoid mistakes as well as what to do and in what order.

All of these can really help to play guitar fast and effectively. It doesn’t matter, whether you have experienced friends or not, with the help of friendly audio and video multimedia materials it becomes a comprehensive guitar lesson course.

All the lessons are complete in one guitar lesson package and provide you fast, easy access to everything you need. How to practice guitar tabs, how to get better at chords, at learning guitar scales, how to tune?

What are the basics a beginner should learn before jumping to the advance of singing and strumming together? It provides answers to these and hundreds of other questions.

If you’re an intermediate guitar player you will find the Jamorama course also useful. If you want to play in a band, it provides proven techniques of how to increase your level of playing the guitar and make it more qualified.

The price has to be one of the best program benefits. There’s a great deal of stuff out there for free, but it’s quite hard to find a good quality guitar lesson course.

If you find something quite good, it’s always really highly priced. There are DVD packages, and it’s really cool, because they show you the video lessons and audio lessons on the DVD, but the cost of them is usually over 200-300 dollars. And one of the biggest advantages of Jamorama is that it’s surprisingly affordable.

The Good Point

The price has to be the best feature of Jamorama. There is just an insane amount of information for the price. There are 3 bonus software products that are pretty cool, and a 60 day money-back guarantee.

The instant access is nice too, since you can download the course and get started right away. Also available for Lead Guitar and Acoustic Guitar.

The Bad Point

A course that is 100% computer based might turn some people off. There isn’t really any solid theory presented here, it’s mostly all Guitar TAB.

Jamorama provides you:

  • 2 e-books:
  • Jamorama Beginners
  • Jamorama Advanced
  • 148 video lessons
  • 26 “active” jam tracks, with features to turn guitar track on or off.
  • 1000s of lines of guitar tablature
  • Numerous audio files

What Bonuses Are Included?

Here come bonuses in my Jamorama review. The Jamorama team also added some quite useful extra things to help with your learning. There are three software packages, a game which helps in learning how to read music and a free month membership to SongPod.

  • Guitar Tuner Pro – One of the most famous digital tuning software for guitar professionals
  • Song Pond Membership – With Jamorama lessons you also get a free 30 day membership to to a brand new website called SongPond. It teaches people who learn guitar how to play some of their favorite songs via high-quality online video lessons.
  • Guitar Ear It – Game that helps you with preparing your ear to deal with chords.
  • Jayde Musica Pro – An interesting game software which help you with learning sight-reading, pitch recognition, and chord identification. All these help to read music simply.
  • Advanced Learning Techniques for Guitarists – An additional 16-page .pdf workbook that explains how you can get the most out of the Jamorama software.

Verdict

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed by the quality of this product. In fact Jamorama is a product that lives up to its billing, and is actually a great method to learn how to play, at a reasonable cost.

I discovered early in my Jamorama review that it is definitely designed for both the beginner and intermediate guitarist, and that it is very thorough in providing everything the new guitarist needs, and in elminating the problems and traps that are common to beginners.

At the low price of $39.95 Jamorama is a good value for the money. This not a course that is going to teach you total mastery of playing the guitar but it should at least get any eager student headed in the right direction.
